Caber, also known as Cabergoline or Cabaser, is a medication primarily used to treat Parkinson's disease, a condition caused by a deficiency of the brain chemical dopamine. Caber works by enhancing the effects of dopamine, thereby alleviating many of the symptoms associated with Parkinson's disease. Additionally, Caber has been utilized effectively for various other purposes:

  • Treating hyperprolactinemic disorders, pituitary adenomas (tumors), and prolactinomas.
  • Restoring testosterone levels and increasing libido (sex drive).
  • Preventing excessive lactation.
  • Treating Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS).
  • Managing acromegaly with Cabergoline.
  • Improving energy levels and reducing fatigue.
  • Beneficial in the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease.

Possible Side Effects of Caber:

  • Gastrointestinal intolerance.
  • Asthenia (weakness).
  • Fatigue.
  • Flu-like syndrome.
  • Malaise.
  • Hot flushes.
  • Edema (swelling).
  • Weight changes.
  • Somnolence (sleepiness)

How to Use Caber:

  • Caber and Dostinex both contain the same active ingredient, Cabergoline. The primary difference is in their dosage per tablet, with Caber containing 0.5 mg per tab and Cabaser containing 1 or 2 mg per tab.
  • The initial recommended dose is 0.25 mg taken twice weekly. The dosage can be adjusted, increasing by 0.25 mg every four weeks as needed, based on prolactin levels, up to a maximum of 1 mg taken twice a week.
  • Individuals with specific medical conditions such as liver problems, lung disease, cardiovascular disease, Raynaud's syndrome, stomach ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, a history of mental illness, or low blood pressure should consult their healthcare provider before use.

Bodybuilding Benefits of Caber:

  • Cabergoline, the main component of Caber pills, acts as a dopamine agonist, mimicking the actions of the brain chemical dopamine. This can be beneficial for bodybuilders, but it should be used responsibly and under medical supervision.
